Mikhail Daya, DMD

Dr. Daya began his dental career in his home country of Venezuela. After finishing dental school at Universidad Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho in Barcelona, Venezuela, followed by a one-year Oral Surgery externship in Caracas, he made the decision to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, moving to Florida in 2010 to pursue that goal.

He received his DMD in 2014 after completing the International Dental Program at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. He remained at Nova Southeastern for his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery until 

2018, providing surgical expertise for an extensive variety of conditions including facial trauma, cleft palate, and cancer reconstruction at two of the largest hospitals in South Florida.

After relocating to St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Daya took part in a prestigious temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and orthognathic surgery fellowship with Movahed OMS and Mercy Hospital. This fellowship also gave him the opportunity to support the Children for the Pediatric World Project, for whom he performed pro bono procedures to repair trauma and restore the oral health for underprivileged kids from across the Western Hemisphere.

In 2019, Dr. Daya moved greater Tampa metropolitan area as a staff surgeon at Tampa General, Tampa Community, and St. Joseph’s hospitals.

Dr Mikhail Daya is a Board Certified Oral Surgeon. Dr. Daya completed 4 years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nova Southeastern University and a one year fellowship at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. Dr Daya’s expertise range from IV. Sedation, Dental Implants, Removal of wisdom teeth, Corrective Jaw surgery and TMJ among others

He has authored and coauthored multiple publications in peer reviewed journals as well as book chapters within the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Sleep Apnea. He is tri-lingual, being fluent in Spanish, English and Arabic. He is also
 an avid triathlete.

Dr. Dasha Donado, DMD, MS

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Dasha Donado is an accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, and raised in Weston, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and later pursued a Master of Science in Biology with a concentration in Oral Biology at New York University. After a year in healthcare consulting, Dr. Donado returned to the University of Pennsylvania to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She completed her internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers University and her residency at the University of Puerto Rico.

Dr. Donado has developed expertise in areas such as orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, complex facial trauma, TMJ disorders, and the removal of wisdom teeth, among other specialized procedures. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, with a focus on personalized treatment plans. Her proficiency in virtual surgical planning and advanced surgical technologies reflects her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field.

Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS, Dr. Donado is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. She is also passionate about mentoring future surgeons, particularly women and minority students.

Outside of her profession, Dr. Donado enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Bruce, and engaging in activities like yoga, dancing, and sports.
