Anesthesia

At SFIOS, patient comfort and safety are top priorities. We offer a full range of anesthesia options to ensure a smooth, pain-free experience—tailored to your needs, medical history, and level of anxiety.

Types of Anesthesia We Offer

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas):

A mild sedative inhaled through a mask. It reduces anxiety and increases comfort while keeping you fully awake. Effects wear off quickly, and you can usually drive yourself home.

Oral Sedation:

Medication taken by mouth before your procedure to help you feel relaxed and drowsy. You’ll remain awake but less aware of the procedure. Someone must drive you to and from your appointment.

IV Sedation:

A deeper level of sedation administered intravenously. Most patients feel like they’ve slept through the procedure and have little or no memory of it. You are closely monitored by our trained surgical team at all times.

How We Choose the Right Option

During your consultation, we’ll review your health history, the complexity of your procedure, and your comfort preferences to recommend the safest and most effective form of anesthesia.
